Auto-Matching Meetings
IceCubes automatically links captured meetings to your calendar events.
How Matching Works
- When a meeting is captured, IceCubes checks your connected calendar
- Events within ±15 minutes of the meeting start time are considered
- Matching uses multiple strategies to find the best match
- The highest confidence match is automatically linked
Matching Strategies
IceCubes uses these strategies in order:
- URL Match (95% confidence): Meeting URL in transcript matches the calendar event's video call link
- Title + Time Match (85% confidence): Event title is similar to meeting title and starts within 15 minutes
- Single Event Match (60% confidence): Only one calendar event exists in the time window
Match Confidence Levels
- High (95%): Meeting URL exactly matches calendar event
- Medium (85%): Title similarity + time proximity
- Low (60%): Only event in time window (platform may differ)
Manual Linking
If auto-matching fails or links the wrong event:
- Open the meeting detail page
- Click "Link Calendar Event"
- Search for the correct event
- Click to link it
Unlinking Events
- Open the meeting detail page
- Find the linked calendar event section
- Click "Unlink"
- The meeting will no longer show calendar data
When Matching Fails
- No calendar events near the meeting time
- Multiple events at the same time (ambiguous)
- Calendar wasn't connected when meeting was captured
- Private calendar events may not be accessible
