Next Steps Detection
IceCubes automatically identifies follow-up commitments, meeting scheduling, and action items mentioned during your sales conversations.
What Gets Detected
Next Steps detection looks for verbal commitments and action items, including:
- Follow-up commitments: "I'll send you the proposal"
- Meeting scheduling: "Let's set up a call next week"
- Information requests: "Can you send me pricing details?"
- Demo/trial offers: "I'll set up a demo for your team"
- Internal actions: "Let me check with our engineering team"
Suggested Actions
For Next Steps, IceCubes also suggests the type of action needed:
Send Email
Follow up with materials, proposals, or information requested.
Schedule Meeting
Book a follow-up call, demo, or stakeholder meeting.
Create Task
Internal actions like research, approvals, or preparation.
From Insights to Action Items
Detected Next Steps appear as Suggestions for Review in the Next Steps tab. Each suggestion shows the AI-extracted action, the exact quote from the transcript with speaker and timestamp, and a “View in transcript” link to jump to that moment. You can assign it to a team member, set a due date, and save it as an action item with one click.
- Open the Next Steps tab in a meeting
- Review the AI suggestion and the supporting quote
- Confirm the assignee and due date
- Click Save as Action Item
Tip: Don't Miss Follow-Ups
Review Next Steps immediately after each call. Converting them to action items with due dates ensures nothing falls through the cracks.
