Installing the Browser Extension
The IceCubes browser extension captures meeting transcripts directly from your browser. Install it from your browser's extension store in just a few clicks.

Install from the Chrome Web Store for automatic updates and easy management.
Add to Chrome
After Installation
Pin the Extension
Click the puzzle/extensions icon in your browser toolbar and pin IceCubes for easy access.
Sign In
Click the IceCubes icon in your toolbar and sign in with your account.
Use the same account you used for the webappYou're Ready!
Join a Google Meet, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams call. The extension will automatically capture the transcript and sync it to your IceCubes account.
Popout Window
During a meeting, you can pop the transcript out into a separate resizable window. This lets you view the live transcript alongside the meeting without the overlay covering the video. Click the popout button in the overlay toolbar to open the transcript in its own window, then resize and position it however you like.
Extension Permissions
The extension requires these permissions to function:

Troubleshooting
Extension icon doesn't appear in toolbar
Click the puzzle/extensions icon in your browser toolbar and pin the IceCubes extension.
Can't sign in to the extension
Make sure you're signed in to the IceCubes webapp first at icecubes.app. The extension uses the same account.
Transcript not being captured
Make sure captions are enabled in your meeting. The extension captures from the caption stream.
