Notifications
Stay informed about important activity in your meetings and organization.
Overview
IceCubes keeps you up-to-date with notifications for important events like mentions, shared meetings, and action items. Notifications appear in the app and can optionally be sent via email.
Accessing Notifications
You can access your notifications in two places:
- Notification Bell: Click the bell icon in the sidebar to see recent notifications. A red badge shows how many unread notifications you have.
- Notifications Page: Click "View all notifications" in the dropdown, or navigate to the full notifications page for a complete history.
Notification Types
IceCubes sends notifications for these events:
@Mentions
When someone mentions you in a meeting comment using @yourname, you'll receive a notification with a link to the specific comment.
Meeting Shared
When someone shares a meeting transcript with you, you'll be notified so you can access and review it.
Action Item Assigned
When an action item from a meeting is assigned to you, you'll receive a notification with the task details and due date.

Managing Notifications
From the notification dropdown, you can:
- Mark as read: Click on a notification to mark it as read
- Mark all as read: Click the "Mark all read" button to clear the unread badge
- Dismiss: Remove individual notifications from your list
- Navigate: Click a notification to go directly to the related meeting or action item

Notification Preferences
You can customize which notifications you receive in Settings:
- Team Mentions: Toggle notifications for @mentions
- Weekly Digest: Receive a weekly email summary of your meeting activity
Pro tip: Even with email notifications disabled, you'll still see in-app notifications in the bell icon. Email preferences only control what gets sent to your inbox.
