Understand how AI credits work, manage your subscription, and upgrade your plan.
Plans
IceCubes offers four plans:
| Plan | AI Credits / Month | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 50 first month | $0 |
| Starter | 150 | $5/mo ($4/mo annual) |
| Pro | 300 | $10/mo ($8/mo annual) |
| Enterprise | Unlimited | $25/mo ($18/mo annual) |
All plans include unlimited meeting transcription on Google Meet, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams.
Free Trial
New free users get 50 AI credits in their first month, plus access to Multi-Meeting AI Chat. After the first month, upgrade to any paid plan for more AI credits. Transcription and integrations continue to work on the free plan.
What counts as 1 AI credit?
Each of these operations uses 1 credit:
- Generate a meeting summary
- Extract action items & next steps
- Extract sales insights
- Send a message in AI chat
Auto-generate on meeting end uses 1 credit per content type. If you have summary, next steps, and insights all enabled, that's 3 credits per meeting. You can control which content types auto-generate in Settings > AI & Templates.
Credit reset
Credits reset at the start of each billing period. Unused credits do not roll over. You can see your current usage and reset date in Settings > Billing.
What happens when credits run out?
When you've used all your credits for the month:
- All your existing transcripts, summaries, and data remain fully accessible
- You can still record and transcribe new meetings
- AI features (summaries, action items, insights, chat) are paused until credits reset or you upgrade
IceCubes will show you a prompt to upgrade when you run out of credits. You can also see warnings at 80% and 95% usage in the AI settings section.
Managing your subscription
Go to Settings > Billing to:
- Upgrade or change plan: Click "Upgrade Plan" or "Change Plan" to select a new plan
- Manage billing: Click "Manage Billing" to open the Stripe Customer Portal where you can update your payment method, view invoices, or cancel
Upgrading
When you upgrade, your new credit limit takes effect immediately. You'll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period.
Downgrading
When you downgrade, you keep your current plan until the end of the billing period. The new (lower) plan takes effect at the start of the next period.
Cancelling
You can cancel anytime. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, then reverts to the Free plan. No data is deleted when you cancel.
Payment issues
If a payment fails, Stripe will automatically retry over the next two weeks. During this time you keep access to your plan. If all retries fail, your plan will be downgraded to Free. You can update your payment method at any time via Settings > Billing > Manage Billing.
