What We Don't Collect
Data Storage & Security
- Infrastructure: Data is stored securely in Google Cloud (Firebase)
- Encryption: All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3)
- Compliance: Data centers are SOC 2 Type II compliant
- Backups: Automatic backups with point-in-time recovery

Third-Party Services
IceCubes integrates with the following services:
- Firebase (Google): Authentication, database, and file storage
- OpenAI: AI summaries and chat features (transcript text is sent for processing)
- Google Calendar API: Calendar integration (read-only access to event details)
Meeting Recording Policies
IceCubes captures captions from your screen—the same text you see when captions are enabled. Check your organization's policies about meeting transcription. Some organizations and jurisdictions require consent from all participants before capturing meeting content.
